Big, Overexposed Spider
Not enough light to shoot him flashless. Not big enough to take a shot far enough for flash to be good. He’s overexposed. He’s big. Legspan bigger than a quarter, big.
This overexposed shot got his web really nicely though. So I like it. And it makes him look glowy.
He’s got golden brown markings on his underside. This guy’s just outside my apartment, and his web has support lines going to the tree, about 14 feet straight up, all the way down to the ground, it looks like. The span of the image is probably about a foot and a half of the web, but the web itself is like 3 feet wide at the center point.
Awesome.
