at least I know I’m in the right line of work.
So, about 2 weeks ago, I got access to my new and improved CS computer account.
I’ve been poking around a little with it ever since.
Basically, the last couple days have been a giant orgy of system administration. That’s the only way to describe it.
I’ve put in about 26 hours of work in the last 3 days. Doing system administration.
I’ve put in about 14 hours total now, while not at work, setting up my environment on the CS machines. I’m finally mostly done. I don’t have anything else to build, now it’s just key bindings to go.
While waiting for bigger stuff to compile, I’ve also moved from my old svn repository on svnserve to a new repos on apache2 mod_dav_svn. I didn’t go for the full authz_svn, svn directory route — that’s just overkill for this …
Anyway. I sleep now.
