Yep. I got 5 “prescreened” credit card offers in the mail today.

5 of them!

What the fuck. One or two a week is fine, I am getting 5 of them in a single day??

So, I went ahead, opened them all up, and confirmed that indeed, they all have the same TransUnion opt-out number.

So, I called the number. Now, for the next 5 years, I should stop getting these wastes of paper (and often plastic).

For the record, I do NOT want more credit. I don’t want another credit card. I REALLY don’t want 8 more credit cards. I’m quite happy with the one I’ve got. The next time I WILL want more credit is when I buy a new laptop. But hopefully that won’t be until the end of the semester, and hopefully I’ll have both gotten enough money for the whole laptop and for tuition for the next semester before then.

BLAARGH!

I also find it frustrating that a couple weeks ago, someone beat on the mailboxes and warped my mailbox door just enough that it’s hard to open and close. Fucking drunks.
