So, here I am, back in windows.

I’ve brought gkrellm with me, which is somewhat nice (though could be nicer).

I’ve still not found a fully satisfactory answer to the music player question … but itunes is head and shoulders above rhythmbox, and winamp is at least a head’s worth above xmms.

Things are … nicer, in general. It’s easier to hop on IGS and watch the meijin match. It’s easier to fire up a video file. It’s quicker to launch my email reader. It’s quicker to page through some new manga.

Linux … I love ya … but you’re just not there yet.
