Ugh Ugh Ugh Ugh Ugh

So … it definitely doesn’t look like appendicitis. Which is good, because that’s one of those “immediate surgery plus antibiotics” things, and also a good demonstration of why self-diagnosis is a bad thing and shouldn’t be trusted (except for the most obvious things).

Well, apparently one of my liver enzymes is a bit high (it’s 100, the normal range is 30 to 70), and everything else blood-wise is normal (all the cell counts, etc).

And apparently what I thought was “lower quadrant” turns out to be “upper quadrant”. Meaning that it may very well be that I have gallstones.

Got an ultrasound in an hour and a half, which’ll hopefully let us know for sure one way or the other, then talk with the doctor about ways to deal with it if that’s what it is (*mutters*).
