Paid in full, in part.

So, I got paid today, and had enough to pay tuition, buy books (all used), and eat a sandwich. Paid rent yesterday (still in the grace period, would have paid it Monday but the weather was nasty and I didn’t feel like leaving the apartment to do it).

However, I’ve only got the $20 in my pocket and the $28 in my bank account to last me the next 2 weeks until my next paycheck. And then I’ll still be on a short fiscal leash, having to buy food, pay on my recurring loan payment, pay for phone, cable, netflix, and (the big one) pay for my ultrasound. Almost $400 for that — that’s a bit of a kick in the nuts. What can ya do though? And then there’s still the PUSH visit bill (another nearly $200) on top of it. I’m definitely going to need to ratchet up the work hours this semester, this 25 hours a week crap isn’t going to float it anymore. At least I’m looking forward to a decently juicy tax return though … whenever purdue gets around to actually calculating the year’s pay and sending me my W2′s, of course.

*sigh*. Money worries suck. Not having health insurance sucks. Textbooks? You better believe they suck. And I just realized that I think I miscounted the classes I need to take by one — I need to retake social psych as well. For a while, I kept signing up for it, and then bailing on it in the first week because it was at a bad time, or in a bad location, or both. *mutter*. I guess I’ll tack that onto the summer schedule, do it in maymester or so.

Bleh … life is complicated. I’m going to go engage myself elsewhere for now.
