Choices
I was trying to keep random due-dates in my head organized… and realized that it wasn’t happening.
In an effort to make myself slightly less confused about what’s due when, I went looking for a wordpress calendar plugin.
And found like 7 of them.
3 of them seemed like they’d fit my purpose. So, how do I choose between them?
Well, First one on the list, obviously. It’s a “clock” algorithm. I’ll try A, if it doesn’t work I’ll try B, etc…
So, off to the right, you’ll notice Calendar v2.0 making a friendly little calendar. Events are obvious, just hover over them. I think it serves the purpose, anyway.
Ultimately, I’d like to have something that could do things like … IM’ing me reminders about things at specified intervals. But whatever, this is good enough for me for now.
In other site news, I decided to trim some of those annoying themes. Sorry, they just weren’t cutting it. I’m thinking about chopping out the theme-switcher code, outright, since it doesn’t work cleanly anyway.
