BWOHOHOHOHOHOHO, “GYAAAAAAAAAAAAK!!”, and other such entities
So, recently in Futokai Alternative, there was a wonderful sound. The sound “GYAAAAAAAAAAAAK!!”. Or at least, that’s how I subbed it. It’s such a precious scene … can’t wait till ep 2 actually gets released so everyone can see it 
.
I just rearranged my room a tad, took the shelf and kicked it out to the corner in the kitchen (where it looks pretty damned nice, I must say. Way better than the loose boards in the corner before). And while I was at it, I put the anime cd binders on there, and the loose large cookware (the 10 quart pot, the large roaster pan, etc). Easy access for the cd binders is a good thing. And the cookware having a real place to be instead of just stacked somewhere or another is nice too.
Back in my room, kicked the dresser about 8 inches closer to the bed (in hopes it’ll help keep the futon mattress from sliding down, and to get 8 inches more corner space), kicked the speaker over toward the corner at a diagonal. Now I’ve got room to get away from the monitor other than “hop on the bed” … which I’ve been itching for. The speaker being angled improved the sound balance of the room a bit, I think… now it’s not off there talking to itself as much. The floor fan is also in a more comfortable, convenient place, and room airflow is good again.
The only downside of this I’m seeing is that I lose the easy-access to an extra horizontal surface to throw stuff. But that’s honestly not a big deal to me, I’d rather lose the horizontal surface and gain the floorspace than keep the pile of junk, y’know?
