10:30 am, July 4th
As of 10:30 am, the 4th of July, 2006, I’m down one more grandparental-type figure.
Not a whole lot to say about it. I wasn’t terribly close to her, but it’s never fun knowing of the passing of people you care about. Still, she lived a long, full life, and died peacefully in the presence of loved ones, not much more you can ask for I guess.
We now return you to an otherwise very mundane day.
