Summer classes are done
Well, technically they were done last week, but … I just got the grades for them.
Seems like the university doesn’t hand out “semester honors” status for the summer, or something like that, but I’m still happy with my 3.5 summer gpa and my .13 gpa improvement (bringing me to an almost-respectable 2.49 … if I 4.0 the rest of the time I’m here I’ll graduate with a 2.72, and if I retook linalg on top of that I’d theoretically be able to pull it up to a 2.80 — of course, that’d be betting on all A’s, which I haven’t managed to pull off, ever). Realistically, I’m on target to graduate with about a 2.68, at the current rate, which is fine.
Anyway, yeah, ignoring the unhappy history that my academic past has had, I’m looking forward to the future and the prospect of fixing my b0rked gpa and the holes in my understanding. But for now, time to bask for a few minutes in a job well done — my semester 3.5 for two semesters in a row
