Yeah, so that last post? You know, the one about how I really didn’t need another drive dying on me right now?

Apparently the drive either wasn’t listening, or overheard and decided to shit and die out of spite. My guess is the former, because despite the “SMART” acronym, I don’t really think the drive’s a sentient entity.

Yeah, so I’m annoyed. I didn’t lose any particularly significant data, and I managed to pull off the whole /etc and some basic files from my wwwroot before things totally broke down, but I’m sick of reinstalling OS’es, sick of dying hardware.

It’s 5:30 am. I think I’ll go to sleep.
