The battle, lost.

Today three men and two women fought with a couch.

And the couch soundly trounced us all.

Here it sits, smug in its victory.

(the girls up in 14 wanted to buy the big couch for their apartment, brought their boyfriends to move it, but we couldn’t squeeze it up the stairs by about 3 inches, so we had to bring it back down. In the process of getting it out and back in, we punched a fairly big dent in the wall with a couch foot, and put a nice dent-score in it too. They bought the smaller couch instead, and my dinner table and chairs. That’s the story. Craigslist, purdueonline and purdue.forsale tomorrow.)

I always knew that was going to be a horrible bastard to get out of there. I very much loved having it there, but man oh man, it was ridiculously hard to get into the place. God damn shame to, because it\\\’s a nice couch even now (I\\\’d think).

also, why you throw chip WordPress. I like apostrophes and somewhat proper grammar. :(

I think it’s the captcha plugin that’s doing that. I need to track down where it’s running addslashes() an extra time, and make that go away.
