Image of the day: acetic acid washer
Must be a somewhat scary job, walking around on a rickety-looking, slick rig in a raincoat a hundred feet above the ground, spraying moderately caustic solutions at limestone with a powerwasher all day.

In other news, my grandpa finally died today. That brings me to one surviving grandparent. My mom’s taking it pretty hard. I’m ok, though. It spawned a rather long introspective tangent that I’m not going to post here (or anywhere), but … I’m fine with it, on the whole.
