No, really. The ground looks like it’s a bit closer. I guess because these glasses are a better prescription… but walking to and from work, I feel shorter.
Yeah, so my new glasses came in. Of course, the came in without the teflon coating on the lenses, which was stupid, so I’ve got to go back in again and get new lenses in a week or two.
It’s …. odd though. They feel fine, but I’ve gotten so used to heavier frames and pokey metal bits that they don’t feel like they’re sitting right, because there’s no hard contact points.
In other health-related news, I have a lovely cyst on my scalp that’s not acting like it’s going to go away any time soon (it’s been there for at least the last year or so). And now it’s turned into a small sore …. suckage. I’m giving it like 2 weeks to stop doing the annoying things it’s doing, and if it’s not well on the way to getting better, I’m going to see a dermatologist about it, I think.
