So yeah, Western Digital’s RMA process is pretty freaking painless. My deceased 200gb disk … just had to enter the serial number, my address and credit card info on the site, and they’re shipping a new hdd. I’ve got to pay to ship the old one back, but … that’s not a big deal, since I’m essentially getting a new 200gb hdd for what amounts to the cost of shipping.

Pretty nice.
