more netflix awesomeness: Bruce Almighty
Yeah, so I would have NEVER watched this movie, but for netflix.
General impression: It’s cute. Morgan Freeman plays a pretty decent God. There’s some cute one-liners, and overall it’s got a good mix of the whimsy that Jim Carrey is so well known for and the general awesomeness that Freeman does so well.
Definitely qualifies as a “light” movie … in that it’s lighthearted. Kind of characteristic “be happy where you are” moral that we all enjoy so much (bleh, complacence-inducing). A bit overdone, tried-and-true, but whatever …
The outtakes and deleted scenes are hilarious though.
Netflix ….. still pretty cool. Definitely worth my “free”.
