My lab, minus about a dozen workstations. It’s … not completely empty yet. But it’s pretty depressingly close.

A greenhouse, dimly lit, about half a block from my apartment.

Not much to say about it.

Must be a somewhat scary job, walking around on a rickety-looking, slick rig in a raincoat a hundred feet above the ground, spraying moderately caustic solutions at limestone with a powerwasher all day.

In other news, my grandpa finally died today. That brings me to one surviving grandparent. My mom’s taking it pretty hard. [...]
