A while ago, I came across this slashdot article, which boldly went where everyone has gone before: declaring that the concept of intelligent design is dying, because science has worked out how bees fly.
Made me think about the classic ID defense model, which looks something like this:

Science believes in evolution
Science can’t even explain how bees [...]

Really good ideas proliferate from the medium they’re developed in. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the goodness (applicability, soundness, utility) of an idea can be directly measured by how many other things it’s infected.

I was trying to keep random due-dates in my head organized… and realized that it wasn’t happening.
In an effort to make myself slightly less confused about what’s due when, I went looking for a wordpress calendar plugin.

It’s like …. a fog has cleared. Mostly.
Yeah, that first nearly full night’s sleep after a week of 3-4 hour nights …
Well, some of the fog is still there. And the project isn’t done. But … whatever.
